Nerd Lacquer
Meet NerdLacquer: custom-blended nail polish inspired by sci-fi faves and other geekery. These hand-blended shades are created using over 100 different components to make the finger-candy glitter bombs of your dreams…and they’re all named for beloved science fiction classics and other stuff that rates high on the Dorkitude Scale. Most (but not all) components are 3-Free, and none of them are tested on animals or come from companies who do.
Nebula

NEBULA is a blackened fuchsia with red and silver glitter, red and fuchsia small and medium hexagonal glitter, iridescent glitter, small lavender glitter, and generously spiked with fine and ultrafine holographic sparkles (which my camera is completely incapable of capturing). Totally opaque in two coats, or great as a top coat! Definitely not rough or lumpy, but these *are* loaded with glitter, so they look their glossy best if you’re heavy with the top coat.

Event Horizon

Pinin’ for the Fjords

PININ’ FOR THE FJORDS is a sparkling Norwegian blue with lavender and silver glitter, small and medium sky blue hexagonal glitter, charcoal micro glitter, and large silver hex glitter. Beautiful plumage, though not much of a conversationalist. You might have to nail this shade to your fingers to keep it on.

It’s Just a Flesh Wound

IT’S JUST A FLESH WOUND is a fierce black base with small and medium black, red, and copper hexagonal glitter, plus black and charcoal microglitter and big silver hex glitter. This color always triumphs, and will still look fearsome even if a passing king lops one of your arms off. Looks amazing as a top coat over black or red. Also might challenge the other polishes in your collection to a duel; best to store it separately.

Crunchy Frog

CRUNCHY FROG is a revoltingly gorgeous milk chocolate shimmer base with emerald glitter, small and medium grass green hexagonal glitter, olive microglitter, and you might also notice some large chunks of silvery white. The bones, obviously. If we took the bones out it wouldn’t be crunchy, would it? The easily-nauseated should feel free to think of this color as “chocolate mint.”

Mad Man with a Box Series - "All of Time and Space" is a sheer crystalline minty turquoise with silver shimmer, small and medium fuchsia glitter, and big silver hexagonal glitter. Quite opaque in two coats; if applied very very thin, you might have some visible nail line, though I find that the glitter obscures it enough that you can't see it unless your hand is right up next to your face.

OI, SPACEMAN Series : aka Doctor Who Version Two. A brand-new trio of DW-inspired shades packed with otherwordly sparkle. Photos show each polish on its own, and along side the others in the series.
EXTERMINATE is a deep Dalekanium blackened-bronze brown with small black and gold glitter, large golden hex glitter, and small and medium light blue hex glitter. Quite opaque in two coats, and extremely smooth with a single layer of top coat. Please note that wearing this shade may result in an overwhelming desire to destroy the entire universe, and/or get into a purse fight with any nearby Cybermen.

SHINY is a clear sky blue with sapphire shift, silver and white microglitter, ultrafine opalescent blue glitter, multiple sizes of silver hex glitter, plus medium square white and silver glitter. It's spacey, it's cool, it's synonymous with "fine," and it's very shiny indeed. Quite opaque in two coats, and surprisingly smooth with a single layer of top coat.

I AIM TO MISBEHAVE is a deep plummy wine base with silver microglitter, medium bronze hexagonal glitter, silver and garnet red glitter and ultra fine bronze glitter, plus a slight blue-shift shimmer. It might seem a little naughty or difficult to get along with, but it's really pretty easy going. Note that this shade is a gorram glitter bomb, so go heavy with the top coat.
